SNOW DAY!
We have been having some crazy weather lately! It's actually been cold and we even got some SNOW in Phoenix! It was such a treat, and a great way to bring our Christmas vacation to a close.

Major Letdown
Since Brady is allergic to peanut butter and Jake just loves it, he has always wondered what he's missing out on. We can't even try almond butter, since Brady is also allergic to tree nuts. So Daddy found another alternative...Sunbutter! It is made from sunflower seeds, which Brady can eat! After researching and reading lots of great reviews about it, Daddy ordered 6 jars for the B-Man and we all waited impatiently for them to arrive. Brady is not only a lover of food, but he is always up for trying something new. When they finally arrived, we could hardly contain our excitement.

We all looked at it...it looked pretty good! We all smelled it....it smelled pretty good! We scooped some up on a spoon, and Brady went in for a bite.

Well, that's the last smile Brady had for the Sunbutter. He didn't like it at all, and he was so disappointed that he wouldn't be enjoying some Sunbutter and jelly sandwiches. For the boy who loves everything...he was NOT a fan.

In the end, though, it wasn't a total disappointment. We found out our good friend uses Sunbutter for her son since he is also allergic to peanut butter, so we are giving the 6 jars to them! Brady went from feeling totally disappointed to feeling really happy that we are giving them to John! He told me, "I'm sad that I don't like it, but I'm really glad that John can use it and get all the protein and good stuff from it." That boy has a heart of gold!
