Goodbye to Another Year

The 2009-2010 school year was a great one! Thanks to Mrs. D. and Mrs. W. for their knowledge, encouragement, guidance, and love. Goodbye 1st and Kindergarten....Hello 2nd and 1st! Whoa...slow down! :)

Kindergarten Core Knowledge Night 2010

Just like his big brother last year, Brady's class had their end of the year Core Knowledge performance for family and friends. It was especially bitter-sweet this year, because we will no longer have anyone in Kindergarten, and therefore no one in Mrs. W.'s class, the most incredible Kindergarten teacher on the planet. All 4 Kindergarten classes performed together and did a great job. Brady shined on that stage and looked so darn handsome!! Way to go B!

Waiting to begin

The amazing Mrs. W.

Sunset Canyon Talent Show 2010

On May 19, our school held its annual Talent Show. Brady's class sang and signed "The Bear Went Over the Mountain," for both the morning show and the night performance. Brady did an awesome job. We are so proud of him!

Brady's First Field Trip

In April, Brady's Kindergarten class went on a field trip the The Phoenix Zoo. Brady had been waiting the whole school year for this magical day. This was his first field trip, his first ride on a school bus, and Daddy was coming along...does it get any better than that? Although Brady has been to the zoo too many times to count, going with your teacher and your class makes it really special. Daddy and Brady were in a group with B's buddy and his daddy, along with a few more boys. They had a great trip and came back to tell Mommy and Jake all about it!

Jake's First Field Day

In the early part of February, Jake participated in his first Field Day at school. Unfortunately, the battery was dying on our camera, so we only got pictures of Jake's class doing Tug-0f-War. Jake did great in all of the events and had a really fun day!

Check out that concentration!

Football with Andrew Walter

At the end of January, for cousin Adam's birthday party, Jake and Brady got to play a little football with Andrew Walter. This was such a treat for the boys. He threw them some passes, ran some drills, played a little scrimmage, and even hung out and had pizza with them. Each kid left with a signed picture and card. What a day!
