The Valley of the Sun lived up to its name Wednesday, as locals sweltered through a record-setting 29th day of 110-plus degree heat. Sky Harbor International Airport reported 112 degrees at 3:45 this afternoon. According to the National Weather Service, highs around 107 degrees are expected through the rest of the week.
