Anyhoo, we celebrated the new year last night with some s'mores and a warm fire. A little too warm I think...but what the heck. We put together the huge GeoTrax set they got and played that for a while, sang like Troy and Gabriella on the Wii, and the boys stayed up way too late. We then tucked them in for the last time in 2007.
After that, Cindy and I popped a bottle of champagne her principal had given her as a housewarming gift. It was actually really good, but really sweet so I only had one sip. Cindy made hers into a mimosa. I made mine into a High Life ( it is the champagne of beers, says so on the bottle). We watched the tape delayed ball drop and went to bed shortly thereafter. Woo Hoo for boring!
All I hope for this year is more of the same as we've always had. I could complain about some stuff, but then I would be a major @$$. We are a blessed family. I just want my boys to be happy and healthy and for my wife to keep whatever mental disorder she has that makes her want to stay married to me.
Happy New Year everyone.
