Pequeno Vacaciones

So, this year there will be no huge extravagant vacation, but truth be told...you can't do better than the one we are on right now.

Uncle Jarrod works at the finest resort in town and was able to score us a room at a 5-Diamond resort, at a Motel 6 price. So basically, we have fallen bass ackwards into one of the greatest weekends of our life. Lets see what we have done so far;

- When we checked in, the boys got to do their own check-in, complete with their choice of stuffed animals.
- We have gone swimming for a total of 10 hours or more in the most awesome pools ever.
- We went fishing and Jake and Brady caught their first fish.
- The boys got to zoom all around the resort property with Uncle J on his cart.
- Jake and Brady went down the bug guy slides at the pool. Jake all by himself. Brady was too short so he rode with Mommy.
- We watched the Tigger Movie on a huge screen they set up by the pool while we were swimming.
- We got to hang out with our friends Steve, Brooke and Gracie in the pool. Gracie showed the boys how good she is at dunking her head under water without freaking out. (take note boys)
- We get to sleep next to each other every night after staying up wayyy too late.
- Cheap room service. Seriously. Need I say more about that?
- Free valet parking. Not just valet, but they kept it on the drive the whole time meaning...no wait time. Woo Hoo!

We have to check out tomorrow afternoon, but you can bet we will be hitting a few more of our favorite spots before we go. I think the thing I have enjoyed the most this weekend is just being with my family and seeing them smile the whole time. Jarrod, for real man...you hit this one out of the park. I can't thank you enough.

Gracie and Brooke? Are these new cousins? Do they belong to Uncle Steve? I am confused . . . Great shots at an amazing resort. Not a bad idea for summer fun locally. We just may have to do the same.
