Meeting The Teachers

Before our trip to Waterworld and our very first set of stitches, Daddy brought Jake and Brady up to school for "Meet The Teacher" Night. Mommy was already there, of course, meeting some of her students. First up was Preschool where Brady will be returning as the "big man" this year. He will be an old pro and ready to help out the other kids. Jake and Brady ran up to give big hugs to Mrs. D, Mrs. S., Mrs. H., and the other Mrs. H. The teachers were just as excited to see Jake and Brady again, and couldn't believe how much they had grown over the summer!





Next up was a visit to Jake's Kindergarten teacher for this year. Wow, that's even a little hard to type...KINDERGARTEN!! Unbelievable. Jake is going from one set of awesome teachers right to another. Mrs. W. (aka Mrs. G. - name change) is the most incredible Kindergarten teacher out there, folks. You walk into her room and it makes YOU want to go back to Kindergarten. She sat and talked to Jake for quite a while and Jake's faced beamed the whole time. As we were leaving, Mrs. W. told Jake she couldn't wait to hear all about his trip to Waterworld, and boy does he have a story to tell!


Although Jake and Brady know most of the teachers at their school pretty well since Mommy works there, they love these nights where they aren't there just as Mommy's boys, but as their teachers' students too. We are so blessed to be at such an incredible school with absolutely amazing teachers. I would want nothing less for these two wonderful little boys. It is going to be a great year!
