Brothers and Best Friends

Today in the car after school, the boys were in deep conversation about something (I'm sure it was superhero related), when Jake asked me a question. I responded just as we reached a stoplight and I turned around to look at him. Just then I witnessed the sweetest thing. Brady reached his hand out to Jake and Jake took Brady's hand and brought it up and kissed it. They just smiled at each other and went on talking and holding hands. They do these little things all the time, and it just reminds me that not only are they great brothers, but they are the best of friends. I really do think that if they had been given a choice of any brother in the world, they would have chosen each other. I thank God everyday for giving them to me, and I also thank God for giving them to each other.

That's the sweetest thing! I love that they are so caring and that you guys encourage that quality in them. You're rare and wonderful parents.

I wish I was in the car with you to see it. Just reading about it is such a blessing to me. :)

That is the sweetest thing I have EVER heard. You have two amazing boys.....who have two amazing parents!

And, I'll let you know when we are coming over to check out the pre-school. How fun would that be if John and Brady were in the same class?
